Individual Interventions

The Olweus Bullying Prevention Program is based upon interventions at three levels:

  1. School wide Interventions
  2. Classroom-level Interventions
  3. Individual-level Interventions

Individual-level interventions can include individual meetings with children who bully, individual meetings with children who are victims of bullying and meetings with parents of children involved in bullying behavior.

Teachers and other staff members at Olweus program schools have attended an initial training session, participate in follow-up teacher discussion groups and are armed with tools to process, report and evaluate student responses during interventions.
