Event Synopsis
OBPP Coordinating Committee workshops provide attendees the opportunity to network with other school teams implementing the OBPP in their school buildings. Best practices in the Olweus model will be highlighted in the morning session, which will also include a panel discussion addressing creative strategies for implementation at various grade levels. The afternoon session features keynote speakers addressing a variety of topics related to bullying prevention in schools. Topic focus will be identified on a regional school-needs basis.

Objectives

  • Identify best practices in implementation of the OBPP.
  • Investigate strategies for overcoming road blocks in OBPP implementation.
  • Network with other schools who are implementing OBPP.
