Each bullying prevention program is managed by separate partners of the Highmark Foundation. Therefore, the selection process and eligibility requirements vary for each. Read below for more information on how your school can become a program school. Be sure to check the list to see if your school is already involved in the program.
The HALT! program, launched in 2006, has reached capacity with 138 schools within 36 schools districts across Pennsylvania currently participating. Implemented on a district-wide level, HALT! is managed by the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention at Windber Research Institute. HALT! school districts receive materials and resources as part of an overall program agreement.

Adopted by individual school buildings, PA CARES is a bullying prevention program conducted by the Center for Safe Schools, a division of the Center for Schools and Communities.
